Sellstrom S32210 Clear Anti-Fog Polycarbonate Faceshield with Extended Chin Guard, Ratchet Headgear, ANSI Compliant

This is a comfortable, adjustable faceshield that gives me piece of mind when working on the lathe. I was concerned about fogging, but it's ok with this shield. The fogging might last for a split second but dissipates quickly enough that it's not a visibility concern. Breathing is good, and the shield lifts up easily in a way that doesn't cause the headbands to come out of place. I would recommend this shield
This is the best face guard I've ever had. (Okay it's only my second.) But what I really really like about this one is that it wraps around the face in such a way that it helps protect from debris flying around from the sides. (Wear appropriate safety equipment!) I wanted that feature because my safety glasses were just not enough to keep wood chips from my saw from flying in behind them. Using both safety glasses and the shield was a big improvement.
I bought this for use with my gas powered weed whacker....and so glad I did. The amount of debris that gets thrown onto the face plate is startling. Several uses and no scratches. I feel very safe using this and am confident it has kept debris from hitting my face or eyes. Comfortable, fits well and I wear glasses so no issues with fogging lenses. I would not hesitate to buy this.
I have been through several face shields in the past and none have held up or were not user friendly when it came to adjustment and stability. This face shield looks to be quality made for what you get and easy on the adjustment. Ratchet type for a good range of comfort. The shield itself is very clear and free of distortion. Plenty of room under the shield if you wear glasses as there is no interference.
I am extremely pleased with this fade shield; albeit, I am upgrading from a 5-year old 3M bare-bones model.

This face shield is AWESOME! I was using my angle grinder on a project and I had to pause 2 different times to make sure I was wearing my face shield! It's that CLEAR, LIGHTWEIGHT and ANTI-FOGGING! I HIGHLY recommend this product!
I was using them with a heavy duty weed wacker, using a metal blade. A large branch broke off and flung down at my face. I would have had a large cut or worst if not for this guard. The branch didn’t even leave a mark on the face guard.
It’s great for yard work. It doesn’t fog up. It’s easy to flip up. I keep having to check if it’s down because it’s so clear. I have poison ivy in my yard, and this protects my entire face from any contact. Better than an air filter. When I used a filter mask, I would inevitably touch the side of my face. There is no risk of contact with this face when lifting the guard. It’s far enough to lift without the risk of touching your face. Also, the wrap around design provides full coverage.
You simply press the button behind your head and turn to adjust the ban. It worked fine with or without a cap.
I was tired of sneezing, runny eyes, reactive nose and fogged up glasses while riding my lawn mower wearing a dust mask and glasses. I found myself at awe that this mask works perfectly deleting all my dust reactions during mowing. I decided to wear it while painting and applying chemicals plus stain on my deck. To my surprise, the mask cuts down on fume inhalation. It also worked while I used my sander. I didn't experience the fine dust. Sparks were flying while cutting some nail ends off with a little saw and the shield did not get damaged. I am a female in my 60s and the shield can easily be adjusted. I also used it in bright sun without sunglasses and I had no problem.
My first concern is...does it fit. I wear an 8 1/4 hat and I also did not want the shield right at my face and since I have an XL melon...that is always a concern buying over the net.
But it fit fine...very easy to adjust the head band size with the rear knob. Nice tension knobs for the visor and overall a nice shape to the shield.
Is fairly comfortable on my head once I got it all adjusted. What more can one say...it fits..it protects my face...it did not break the bank....and a nice looking face shield.
I will say after 3 weeks now of using this I love it. I forget it is on sometimes it fits so nice and comfortable. The plexi is perfectly clear...I have walked into the house to get a cup of coffee and forget it was on...seriously. Love it
