I love this mirror. I bought it a year ago and the clean, simple LED design is exactly what I want in a makeup mirror - no fancy gimmicks, just intense LIGHT. There are 2 additional magnifications on the left side - perfect for seeing up close if you need to, but they don't take over the whole design (and I don't know about you, but I like to apply my makeup in "real dimension" and not super magnified - useful for tweezing my eyebrows but that's all I need it for). Also, I love the modern LED lights. It's a solid strip around the perimeter of the middle mirror, which for me works way better than the (distracting) Hollywood lights around other similar mirrors.

It stores neatly in my linen closet and travels easily enough (I have not tried taking the base off, but usually shove it in my backpack between clothes when bringing it on a roadtrip). When I do travel without it, I find that I really miss it as other mirrors just don't emit the same quality of light. Seriously - I have put makeup on in otherwise complete darkness and this mirror makes it look flawless.

One caveat: if you can leave a micro USB cable plugged into it, do so. Unfortunately all the plugging and unplugging does a number on the pins. Eventually mine wouldn't turn on when plugged in (after lasting more than a year) so I discovered the battery option...but sadly the lights were not nearly as bright as they'd been to begin with.

BUT I noticed the "lifetime guarantee" on the product description, contacted the company, and heard back within hours that they were sending me a replacement, free of charge. Great customer service and easy replacement process - so do yourself a favor and buy this mirror, you won't regret it!
I love that you can connect with USB or use batteries for the light feature. Also, the mirror itself is not too big and not too small, so it won't take up too much space on your desk/ vanity. I find the mirror to be great for everyday use. Overall, great product!
I love this mirror! It is super bright and you have the option to dim the brightness if it's too bright, it's adjustable, and you can use a regular micro USB cord to power it. The only thing I regret is not getting a case to keep it in.
We bough this for our granddaughter for Christmas. She dances competitively, and she wanted something like this so we could apply makeup without having to crowd a bathroom mirror with other dancers. When closed, the item is slim. The light is very bright, so no issues with seeing how to properly apply makeup for style hair. Plus it is battery operated. It does have a power cord, but it is pretty short.
My trusty conair vanity that I have had since freshman year in HS (2001) broke on me, which was a tragedy when you are a high maintenance biatch like myself (lol) so I went to store after store and the cheapest one I found was 45$ so I turn to the ever faithful Amazon and went looked at several Vanities and this vanity was the all in one package I was looking for, but I was hesitant, bc let's be real, lighting is EVERYTHING when doing makeup, so I read review after review and finally just took the plunge and bought it, I ordered it on sunday afternoon and recieved it monday afternoon (I am a prime member) packaging was very secure and it came undamaged, my husband had it all set up for me when I got home from work and let me just say this vanity is pretty much the best ever!! Perfect lighting, not to blue undertoned (thats what I was worried about since was LED) and it is like the mirror has like a dimming effect so your face isnt washed out at all (another thing I was worried about) and you will see every detail on your face which makes blending out your makeup so easy (blending matters) it looks small, at first I was kinda taken back bc it looked so tiny, but it really is perfect, and it isnt all bulky and taking up space like my dinasour conair vanity... basically I am very very very happy with this purchase, you can't beat this for the price, honestly, I highly recommend this vanity, buy it you will not be disappointed....
